How Do You Apply PlanetSafe Lubricants?
The best way to apply PlanetSafe Lubricants is to apply a few drops of the lube to the area you want treated. We found it best to let the lubricant penetrate the metal parts, so we recommend letting it sit for a little while – even overnight is great. Then wipe away any excess lube. The lubricants bond to the metal and provide amazingly quick and clean movement of parts.
We have tried many lubricants that eventually gum up the parts with debris and gunk which requires cleaning. PlanetSafe on the other hand actually helps remove the debris and lubricate at the same time.
We applied PlanetSafe AIM on an old rusty bike chain. It cleaned so well that the product actually removed years of buildup and made the chain look startlingly brand new. It did take a few applications for all the old debris to come clean from the chain and over a few days we had to continue wiping off the chain with a rag to get rid of the black mess that had been on the chain for years. The end result was very impressive with a clean lubricated chain that worked like it was brand new.
